## Set up Kilo Code

### 1. Create a Subconscious API key

Sign in at https://platform.subconscious.dev and create an API key. You will paste it into the settings screen below.

### 2. Add a custom provider

In Kilo Code, open Settings (gear icon), go to the Providers tab and choose Custom provider at the bottom.

### 3. Fill in the provider

Name the provider and pick its API format.

- Provider ID: `subconscious`
- Display name: `Subconscious`
- Provider API: `OpenAI Compatible`

### 4. Enter the endpoint, key and model

Fill in the connection, add the model under Models, then click Submit.

- Base URL: `https://api.subconscious.dev/v1`
